Carnage, Guatemala's sensational electronic dance music artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Tabernacle Atlanta!
Carnage (birth name Diamanté Anthony Blackmon) was born in Guatemala City (Guatemala) in 1991 and is a DJ, rapper and record producer. He grew up in the US and began his musical journey at the age of 16 by DJing in small clubs in his hometown of Frederick (Maryland). His musical style is best described as a blend of Electronic Dance Music a.k.a. EDM (a broad range of percussive electronic music genres - generally produced for playback by DJs who create seamless selections of tracks, called a mix, by segueing from one recording to another - made largely for nightclubs, raves, and festivals), rap, and trap (a subgenre of Southern hip hop that originated in the 1990s and is characterized by ominous lyrics, heavy kick drums from a Roland TR 808 synthesizer, double time division hi hats, and layered synthesizers). He's had a stellar career with 1 studio album (which topped both of Billboard's Electronic Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts), 1 extended play, and he's performed at many major music events including Tomorrowland Festival and Ultra Music Festival. He's also collaborated with Borgore, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet, Young Thug, Alvaro, Lil Yachty, Headhunterz, and many other renowned artists.
