Louis The Child, Chicago's sensational electronic music artists are bring their signature sounds to the Tabernacle Atlanta!
Louis The Child was formed in Chicago in 2013 and is a duo consisting of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett. Their musical style is best described as a blend of Electronic Dance Music a.k.a. EDM (a broad range of percussive electronic music genres - generally produced for playback by DJs who create seamless selections of tracks, called a mix, by segueing from one recording to another - made largely for nightclubs, raves, and festivals), future bass (a broad genre offering a wide variety of sounds and rhythms normally produced by a synthesizer), pop, and they cite Madeon (also known as Hugo Pierre Leclercq), Flume, Porter Robinson, and ODESZA as some of their influences. They said in an interview, "One big highlight was getting to tour with one of our idols, Madeon. Getting to play at incredible venues around the country on two separate tours with him was eye opening for us. His fans were very receptive to our music and Hugo is a great person to hang with." They've had a stellar career with 2 extended plays, 3 singles, and they've collaborated with many renowned artists such as K.Flay, Icona Pop, Evalyn, and Elohim.
